SHILLONG:
Meghalaya Basketball Association under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India is hosting the first phase of the 72nd Junior National Basketball Championship 2022 at the NEIGRIMS indoor basketball court from October 14 to 17, 2022.
The Championship will be conducted in a league system. The top 3 teams (men/women) will qualify for the final phase of the competition which will be held in Bengaluru from December 21 to 28, 2022.
The selection trial for the state team (men/women) will be conducted on October 1 at Polo, JNS Basketball courts from 6:30 am onwards to be followed by the training sessions with effect from October 3.
Players born between January 1, 2003 and January 1, 2006 are only eligible for the trials. The players have to carry along their respective documents for verification.
