TURA:
Senior Trinamool Congress leader Richard Marak has been admitted to Tura civil hospital after he complained of uneasiness.
Richard was taken into custody on Wednesday by police after several Trinamool Congress workers were arrested for their involvement in the mob attack.
One of the arrested men allegedly confessed to police that he was given shelter by the Trinamool leader in his house after the attacks.
According to police sources, Richard had expressed feeling uneasy and was taken to the hospital on the same day where doctors admitted him to monitor his condition.
Police are awaiting a medical report and discharge of the Trinamool leader so as to take him in for questioning.
