UMROI:
The Night Football Knock-Out Tournament, organised by the Tbeh Jingshai Umroi Football Association (TJUFA), kicked off with exuberance at Umroi ground, making history as the first-ever night football game in the region.
Umroi MLA Damanbait Lamare graced the occasion as the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony.
The opening match between Bhoi Zone and Clarissa captured the attention of hundreds of spectators despite the nighttime setting. The competitive match, spanning from afternoon to evening, concluded with Bhoi Zone securing a 2-0 victory, clinching the title as the first champion of the tournament.
The event also saw the presence of Shalan Sylliang, President of TJUFA, Lover Roy Lyngdoh, Secretary and PB Sylliamg, Headman of Umroi Umdohbyrthih, among others.
