The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday directed all party state workers to file complain with the central leaders regarding any difficulties with the implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan.
Speaking at the programme to review the performance of Poshan Abhiyaan, National Executive Member Banani Sharma from Tripura has urged the Anganwadi workers to come forward and speak out regarding the problems faced by them.
Meghalaya BJP president Judy Surong said that the Meghalaya BJP Mahila Morcha will constantly monitor the implementation of Poshan Abhiyan in the entire state.
Others who attended the programme organised by BJP 19 South Shillong Mahila Morcha under the leadership of BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai, were BLO from Assam Sushma Bhattacharjee, Saraswati Rai, President BJP 19th South Mahila Morcha, Meghalaya State General Secretary Geeta Sarin, General Secretary of Meghalaya Anganwadi workers Smti Diangtimai Lyngdoh and all the Anganwadi and Asha workers of 19th South Shillong Constituency.
MLA Sanbor Shullai has provided financial assistance of Rs 2,00,000 under DG grant 2021-22 to 100 workers and also provided food packet to the Anganwadi and Asha workers as a nutritional benefit by the Mahila BJP. The MLA also lauded the initiative taken by the central leaders to review and monitor the performance of Poshan Abhiyan.
