SHILLONG:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs Alexander Laloo Hek and Sanbor Shullai will be sharing the ministerial berth for a period of two and a half years each.
In a letter addressed to NPP chief Conrad K Sangma, state president Ernest Mawrie requested him to consider the Central leaders decision to allow equal sharing of ministerial berths of the two MLAs.
Mawrie added that both the ministers have agreed to the arrangement, and A L Hek will hold the berth for the first half which ends on August 7 2025, and Shullai will continue till the end of the term.
