BRO additional director general reviews ongoing works under Project Brahmank

Project Brahmank has been entrusted with the responsibility of improving the Migging-Tuting road (length about 50.43 km) in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh to double lane standards.

GUWAHATI:

Border Roads Organization (BRO) additional director general (ADG- East), PKH Singh, visited Project Brahmank in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and reviewed the ongoing works from November 27 to 30.

Project Brahmank has been entrusted with the responsibility of improving the Migging-Tuting road (length about 50.43 km) in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh to double lane standards.

The road under Project Brahmank was inaugurated on June 17, 2021. The strategically important road is crucial for the armed forces personnel posted in forward areas as well as the villages.

Singh inspected the existing Gandhi Bridge, and directed the 761 Task Force to take up immediate rehabilitation work to restore the load classification of the bridge.

During his visit, Singh reviewed the progress of various ongoing projects between Moying and Tuting and further till the first Indian village Gelling.

The ADG directed concerned authorities to expedite progress for the timely completion of these projects of national importance.

During the visit, the ADG inspected ongoing EPC works on DDM road and instructed the project director to ensure the completion of these packages as per milestones ensuring proper quality of works.

Nearing completion, the Iconic Siyom Bridge at Pangin which is the first steel arch bridge in BRO was also inspected by the ADG.
