Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on May 17 said that a detailed presentation was given to the cabinet on the roster system, and all the cabinet members were satisfied with the details presented.
“The presentation was based on all facts and figures looking at the reservation policy, complexities of roster system, and as we go along in the next day or two after the all-party meeting, we will get a clear picture,” Sangma told media persons.
Referring to the VPP stand on reviewing the reservation policy, Sangma said that as of now the discussion that the government has called for is on the roster system.
Stating that roster and recruitment is a continuous process, the chief minister said that once the details are made public, people will get a clear understanding on the issue.
