NONGPOH:
The Fambam Cup 2022 kicked off at the Umdihar Playground on November 19, with the opening match between Friendly FC vs Umdihar-A FC.
Organised by the Fambam Multipurpose Society, the tournament was declared open by former MLA Umsning Constituency, Dr. C. Lyngdoh, who was also the chief guest, in presence of RBDSA President, RB Shadap, members of Dorbar Shnong Umdihar, and others.
Speaking at the occasion, Shadap praised the Fambam Multipurpose Society for Organising the tournament to promote Sports in the District
“The RBDSA encourages that such tournaments are organised in the district regularly to promote sportsmanship among the youths of the district.”
Shadap also encouraged the association to organise games such as Cricket, Tennis, and others in the region.
