SHILLONG:
The Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) West Khasi Hills inspected the road from Nongstoin to Sohpian on the tardy pace of work by the contractor.
In a statement issued here, the organisation stated that it inspected the road which leads to Nongstoin, which is the headquarter of West Khasi Hills.
In their inspection, they found that there were only 5 labourers working on the guard wall, one JCB and one dumper.
The member of the organization has spoken to the contractor and has requested him to speed up the work before monsoon starts.
