JOWAI:
The Jowai Police launched an operation to nab six criminals, including recently arrested I Love You Talang who fled from the Jowai jail at 1:30 pm on September 10.
A police official informed The Meghalayan that the criminals also attacked the personnel guarding the jail with a knife.
Sources said that other persons who escaped from the jail are Ramesh Dkhar, Marsanki Tariang, Rikmenlang Lamare, Shidorki Dkhar and Lodestar Tang.
It may be remined that I Love You and Ramesh were arrested in twin murder cases of tourist taxi drivers- Damehipaia Papeng and Fullmoon Kharsahnoh in August in Jowai.
