SHILLONG:
JCI Shillong Pine City successfully conducted its 9th installation ceremony on February 26, at Hotel Taj Vivanta. The new team, led by its new President for 2023, JC Prerna Jhunjhunwala, Secretary JC Priyal Agarwala and Treasurer JC Gaurav Chachan were given oath of office at the program.
The outgoing President, JC Nishant Agarwala presented his report of activities during the year 2022. JC Prerna Jhunjhunwala shared her vision for the year 2023 and said that JCI would take up some project of a permanent and sustainable nature, like a school, etc. in 2023. She also proposed to construct a clock tower in the city if such a space was made available.
Speaking on the occasion as a chief guest, Bajop Pyngrope, MDC from KHADC said that he was really happy to be at the program. He thanked JCI Shillong Pine City for the good work that they were doing in the society, especially in the education sector. He also complimented JCI for empowering women through giving them leadership roles. He congratulated the team and wished them the best for the future.
The Zone President 2023 of JCI India Zone XXV (the northeast region), JCI Sen. CA Bijay Kr. Agarwal also graced the occasion. He too congratulated the team and invited them to take up important national level programs in the upcoming year. Also, present on the day as Special Invitee was JC Gunjan Harlalka, Zone Vice President 2023. The program was conducted by Master of Ceremony and Project director, JC Abhishek Choudhary.
