Jolt to TMC in Mawhati as party leaders join UDP

MAWHATI:

A boost for the United Democratic Party (UDP) after a few leaders of Trinamool Congress joined the regional party in Mawhati Constituency ahead of the February 27 assembly polls in the state on January 27.

The new joinees were welcomed into the party fold by UDP Ri Bhoi president Donbok Khymdeit in the presence of other senior leaders of the party in Ri Bhoi who included RR Kynsai Makdoh, RB Shadap, Bah Doris Suleiñ among others.

The new members of the party who included Ripul Nongtri, Wanphrang Shadap and others, informed that their decision to join the UDP was to extend their full support to the party candidate from Mawhati, Baiahunlang Makdoh.
