SHILLONG:
The three-day budget session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) will commence from March 1.
The vote-on-account budget will be presented on the first day of the session, according to a revised list of businesses issued by the council’s legislative secretariat on February 24.
The executive committee will also table its report in the matter of the Comptroller and Auditor General pertaining to the years ending March 31, 2014, March 2015, March 2016 and March 2017.
Reports of the executive committee in matters related to the election of Sirdar Wahlong, Wahlong Sirdarship and election of Syiem Mylliem Syiemship will also be tabled during the first day.
The session will conclude on March 3.
