SHILLONG:
MLA 17-North Shillong constituency Adelbert Nongrum on January 12 inaugurated the new football ground of the Lawmali Pyllun locality which is located opposite to Pasteur Institute, Lawmali Pyllun, Block – I.
The programme saw the attendance of A L Hek MLA 14-Pynthorumkhrah, P. N Syiem MDC Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah, Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah, Aman War ex DHS MI, B Khongwir rangbah shnong, L Lyngdoh Kynshi general secretary and various others.
It should be noted that the old ground was converted into a prefabricated isolation ward during the Covid-19 crisis, necessitating the construction of a new football field.
