Meghalaya bags ‘Most Promising New Destination Award’ in Hyderabad

With over 150 participants from four countries and 19 Indian states and UTs, the Northeastern state also participated at TTF, India’s biggest travel network fair.

Meghalaya has been accorded with the “Most Promising New Destination” Award 2022’ at the Travel and Tourism Fair held in Hyderabad, 2022, on July 7.

With over 150 participants from four countries and 19 Indian states and UTs, the Northeastern state also participated at TTF, India’s biggest travel network fair.

Taking to a popular micro-blogging website, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma congratulated the whole team, and wrote, ”Another award for Meghalaya! Meghalaya was awarded the MOST PROMISING NEW DESTINATION title at the Travel and Tourism Fair Hyderabad 2022. Big congratulations to Team (sic).”

The Travel and Tourism Fair Hyderabad, 2022, is South India’s first major travel-related exhibition since the pandemic. According to the company, India Tourism has a significant presence and is showcasing all of its campaigns and programmes such as Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Dekho Apna Desh, and Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat.
