Klingson D Marak, from Garo Blind Football Club, also captain of Meghalaya Blind Football team and member of Indian Blind Football team is going to take part in the selection trials for the international friendly against England on February 18, 2022.
Indian Blind Football Federation (IBFF), co-ordinator of the National Blind Football Team has been invited by the England Blind Football Association to play a three-match international friendly series against the England Youth / Development squad at the St George’s Park National Training Centre in the United Kingdom during May 2-9, 2022. In this regard, IBFF will be conducting a selection camp at the national academy at Kochi from March 1 – 12, 2022.
Talking to The Meghalayan, Tengku D Sangma, Secretary, Garo Blind Football Club, said he is quite confident of Klingson’s selection and whishes him best of luck for the trials.
“There’s high chances of Klingson D Marak to get selected, because I know he’s one of the best and senior teammates among Indian blind Football Team as well as from Garo Blind Football Club,” said Tengku .
