Three cricketers from Meghalaya have secured spots in the North East Zone team for the upcoming Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy 2023, scheduled to take place from November 24 to December 4.

The Zonal Selection Committee meticulously evaluated player statistics in BCCI tournaments from 2022-23 and 2023-24 to finalize the 15-member squad. Riticia Nongbet, Luiza Tamang, and Debasmita Dutta, who will also serve as the Vice-Captain, form the trio representing Meghalaya in the tournament to be held in Lucknow.

Additionally, Ajima Sangma has been named among the standbys, and Baiahun Mylliemngap will serve as the team’s Manager.
