This is in response to the story ‘Cong has lost its ideology’ dated 11 February 2022. The Congress bleeding legislators to other parties, especially the ruling dispensation, shows that the party is now well and truly a headless chicken – but only amongst our venerable cacophony of blind roosters.
There is little principle or ideology under which any party is grounded in, and the less NPP, a convenient subordinate to the exceedingly extremist BJP, comments on this the better.
The turbulence we have been witnessing in these past few years and the ease with which legislators feel free to hop, skip and squat in one party after another shows politics is truly a game of equal rivals – equally over-paid and equally under-qualified – with little to offer than personal ambitions. Maybe KP Pangniang is no different himself.
