GUWAHATI:
The Indian Catholic Youth Movement-North Eastern Region under North Eastern Regional Youth Commission (NERYC) in collaboration with Manipur Catholic Youth Organisation (MCYO) is organising the 4th ICYM NE Regional Youth Convention in Imphal from October 22 to 26 at Catholic School, Canchipur.
This is the first big gathering for Catholic youth in the region since the pandemic and delegates will be part taking from all states of the Northeast. Eminent guests and dignitaries will be gracing this youth convention.
The Archbishop of Imphal, Bishop of Bongaigaon, Auxiliary Bishop and the chairman of NERYC, Most Rev George Pallipparambil will be present in the convention.
The convention will include sessions on entrepreneurship, music, mental health, love and relationship and more. The Council Meeting as well as the General Body meeting will take place during this convention.
The convention will also be pumped up with a musical concert by ‘Traffic Jam’ and cultural performances of different youth of the northeast. Rev Fr John Barman, Regional Youth Director and his team of youth leaders from different states of the Northeast have put their best foot forward to pull off this Youth Convention.
The Theme for this year’s convention is ‘Christ is alive & He wants you to be alive.
