National People’s Party (NPP) leader James Sangma, on December 8, informed that as an MP, Agatha Sangma has done a lot for the Garo Hills region, and the party is far ahead of its competitors in the region.
Speaking to reporters, James informed there are many factors and issues that come up during the election, however, with the kind of work Agatha has it will not have an impact on the winnability factor.
“She has been extensively touring and taking up issues not just pertaining to Garo Hills but also for the state. We can recall that recently there was an issue of language, and she had led a delegation all the way to New Delhi to meet the Union Home Minister. So this shows her commitment for the people of the state,” James said.
