SHILLONG:
United Democratic Party (UDP) MLA from West Shillong Paul Lyngdoh on March 9 informed that he has been allotted the departments of Tourism, Social Welfare, Arts & Culture and Textiles.
Speaking to reporters on March 9, Lyngdoh with regards to Tourism, said, “We need to refocus, shift the focus from where it was to where it should be, as Tourism is an inherent strength of Meghalaya, and there’s so much we can do, and having the ‘dream team’ we should be able to accomplish much more and optimise the potential of the state.”
Lyngdoh further said that he is here to serve lead and take the state to greater heights, “So whatever portfolios have been allotted to me, I will certainly do the best to optimise the potential and try to make a mark in life,” Lyngdoh added.
