Paul Lyngdoh slams TMC for questioning report on ICDS rice ‘scam’

“I gave you the report; now I request the TMC also to go and read the report, and if they feel there was a scam, they must go and depose before the commission,” Lyngdoh told media persons.

Cabinet Minister Paul Lyngdoh, on June 12, hit out at the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for raising questions on the independent committee report on the ICDS rice ‘scam’, which has given a clean chit to the government.

Reacting to TMC’s statement that the government has not made the report public, Lyngdoh said that the report has been shared and, “it is the responsibility of TMC to go and read it.”

“I gave you the report; now I request the TMC also to go and read the report, and if they feel there was a scam, they must go and depose before the commission,” Lyngdoh told media persons.
