SHILLONG:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be touring the three regions of the state – Khasi, Jaintia and Garo Hills after February 10.
This was informed on January 27 by state party president Ernest Mawrie, who also said that the exact date is yet to be fixed.
“The date has not been fixed but just after February 10 or maybe February 11-12, he (PM) will be visiting the three regions of the state,” he said while informing that the party will be organizing public rallies in the three regions.
He also informed that union ministers like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari will be among the 20 star campaigners for the party, adding that chief ministers of other states will also campaign in the state for the upcoming elections.
