South Tura: CM Conrad Sangma files nomination

Sangma will be going up against BJP's Bernard Marak, UDP's John Leslee Sangma, TMC's Richard Mrong Marak and Congress' Brenzield Ch Marak.

TURA:

Chief Minister and NPP national president Conrad Sangma filed his nomination to contest the upcoming assembly polls from South Tura.

Prior to filing his nomination, Sangma visited the grave of his father, the late Purno A Sangma along with his wife.

Following this, Sangma along with his supporters headed to the DC office in Tura to file his nomination for the assembly polls scheduled to be held on February 27.

Sangma will be going up against BJP’s Bernard Marak, UDP’s John Leslee Sangma, TMC’s Richard Mrong Marak and Congress’ Brenzield Ch Marak.

Meanwhile, Sangma said there is a positive wave for the National People’s Party (NPP), claiming that the opposition is disintegrating day by day.
