SSLC, HSSLC exams from March 3

Meanwhile, for the HSSLC examinations, a total of 25,900 – 10,456 male and 15,444 female – are appearing for the Arts stream; 3,684 in total are appearing for the Science stream, of which 1,501 are male and 2,183 are female.

SHILLONG:

A total number of 52,700 students will be appearing in the Class X Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and 32,006 in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education starting from March 3.

Of the 52,700 students appearing in the SSLC examination, 22,495 are male and 30,205 are female.

The SSLC examinations will be held in 157 centres across the state, of which 89 are in the Shillong region and 68 in the Tura region.

Meanwhile, for the HSSLC examinations, a total of 25,900 – 10,456 male and 15,444 female – are appearing for the Arts stream; 3,684 in total are appearing for the Science stream, of which 1,501 are male and 2,183 are female.

In the Commerce stream, 2,405 students are appearing for the examination, of which 1,302 are male and 1,103 are female. A total  of 17 students will be appearing in the Vocational stream, of which 8 are male and 9 are female.
