Student of Adventist Higher Secondary Thadlaskein tops HSSLC (Arts) examinations

Larisa Lamin bagged the 1st position with 450 marks and distinction in five subjects.

SHILLONG:

A lesser-known school, the Adventist Higher Secondary School in Thadlaskein, West Jaintia Hills surprised everyone when its student – Larisa Lamin topped the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Arts stream, the results of which were declared by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) on May 26 morning.

Larisa Lamin bagged the 1st position with 450 marks and distinction in five subjects.

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma took to the microblogging site and wrote, “Wishing all the students who successfully passed their SSLC & HSSLC (Arts) examination from MBoSE. May almighty guide you as you begin your journey for higher studies. Urging the students to be prepared for the journey ahead. May God bless you always! – CM.”
