TMC to release poll manifesto, 10 pledges for Meghalaya on Jan 24

SHILLONG:

The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) will be releasing its election manifesto and 10 pledges for Meghalaya on January 24.

National general secretary of the party, Abhishek Banerjee, will be releasing both during his visit to the state.

Others who will be present on the occasion will be MP and AITC Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha, Derek O’Brien, TMC state in-charge Manas Bhunia, TMC legislature party leader Mukul Sangma, state party president Charles Pyngrope and vice-president George Lyngdoh.

The TMC, which is going all out to woo voters with schemes, has announced 52 candidates who will be contesting the Assembly elections in the state on February 27.
