The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), on August 4, accused the Tripura government of treating the district council unfairly and not cooperating on various matters.
Speaking at a workshop on ‘Jhum Cultivation’, chief whip of TTAADC, Rabindra Debbarma, said that the district council has written to the state government several times for help on various matters, however, there was no positive reply from their end.
“The TTAADC administration is being discriminated against. TTAADC has written to the authorities of various state government departments for help, but there is non-cooperation from them. The rubber plantation season will end in the next few days, but the state government has not informed anything about the supplying of rubber saplings to the district council,” Debbarma alleged.
