The United Democratic Party (UDP), on January 27, assured to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Mawthadraishan Block if the party wins both seats in Nongstoin and Mawthadraishan.
Addressing a public gathering of the UDP Marngor and Laitkseh Zone, a UDP candidate from Nongstoin, Polestar Nongsiej, said that many villages that were originally part of Mawthadraishan block but later moved to Nongstoin block are facing many problems and have expressed their will to return to Mawthadraishan.
He claimed once UDP secures victory in both Nongstoin and Mawthadraishan constituencies, this aspiration of the people will be fulfilled.
