SHILLONG:
The Voice of the People Party (VPP), on May 24, sent a petition to the NPP-led MDA 2.0 government requesting that load-shedding not be implemented on May 26 and 27 due to the announcement of MBOSE’s HSSLC and SSLC results.
In a press release, the party claimed that students should be spared during this vital time, when they need a steady supply of electricity to print their mark sheets and finish their admissions.
