Jowai MLA and National People’s Party (NPP) candidate, Wailadmiki Shylla, on February 7, said that he will be focussing on pending projects if he is elected again in the upcoming state Assembly election.
Speaking to the media after filing his nomination, Shylla said that his main focus will be on the decades old Umngot Greater Water Supply, sanitation of the Jowai town, BA and B.Ed colleges, MCH hospital, Jowai and the Iawmusiang Super Market which is the main market of the district and others.
“In the last five years I have tried my best to bring various development in my constituency, and as we are aware that due to Covid-19 pandemic, the government could not function properly, however we have tried over level best,” Shylla said.
Shylla also posed a question to past representatives of the constituency who did nothing to complete the pending projects.
