NEW DELHI:

A delegation of women students from Nagaland, visiting Delhi as part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg on Thursday.

A statement from the PMO said that the students expressed their happiness at meeting the Prime Minister and discussed a wide range of topics.

β€œIn a freewheeling interaction, they discussed and sought views of the Prime Minister on a host of topics like, his vision for North-East, his experiences in Nagaland, importance of Yoga etc,” the statement said.

The Prime Minister in return asked the students about their experience of visiting Delhi and exploring the tourist places. He adviced them to visit PM Sangrahalaya and the National War Memorial during their stay.

The meeting of the delegation with the Prime Minister was organised by the National Commission for Women (NCW).
