SHILLONG:
To cultivate and promote young talent in the world of football, the Shillong Cityzens Official Supporters Club on October 23 hosted a one-day Grassroot Programme. This initiative was specifically designed for children under 14 years of age, encompassing both boys and girls and drew the active participation of 45 budding football enthusiasts.
With a vision to provide a solid foundation for these young athletes, the Shillong Cityzens collaborated with the coaching staff from Ryntih SC to facilitate the football programme. This partnership ensured that the participants received expert guidance, nurturing their skills and enthusiasm for the beautiful game.
The event left the young participants exhilarated, and the Shillong Cityzens Official Supporters Club is resolute in its commitment to continue organising such programmes. Their goal is to uncover and develop the latent talents of the younger generation, offering them a path towards future success and careers in the realm of football.
Upon the programme’s conclusion, all participants were presented with certificates as a token of recognition for their dedication and hard work.
