In a major boost to air connectivity, the under-construction Greenfield Airport in Hollongi attains as the Airports Authority of India (AAI) conducted its first flight test landing, considered a key milestone toward efforts undertaken for operationalizing the Airport by 2022.
This Airport in Hollongi, 15 km away from Itanagar will include Itanagar on the aviation map, thereby highlighting the significance of air access to the important city of Arunachal Pradesh.
Taking to Twitter, the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister – Jyotiraditya Scindia for strengthening the efforts in crossing the significant milestone.
