In a successful operation conducted by the Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) team on December 7, two individuals, namely Chwamiki Lyngdoh (32 years) and Exeuben Lavie Kympat (24 years),were apprehended along with a vehicle bearing registration number ML04A 6941 in Jowai.
The search yielded 4.05 grams of heroin, 237 nitrozepam tablets, 45 syringes, and a cash amount of Rs. 17,090 from their possession.
Further investigation led to the discovery of an additional 24.47 grams of heroin during the search of Chwamiki Lyngdoh’s rented house. Both individuals have been arrested, and a case has been registered in connection with the incident.
