National People’s Party (NPP) leader James Sangma

SHILLONG:

National People’s Party (NPP) leader James Sangma, on December 8, said that the BJP leader’s allegations against Tura MP Agatha Sangma on central schemes not reaching the people is completely baseless.

“I don’t know which BJP leader said that, but I think he is very ill informed. In terms of the implementation of centrally-sponsored schemes so many have reached the people,” Sangma said.

Stating that it is very easy to criticize people, Sangma maintained that criticism must be based on facts.

“Unfortunately, the leader has not done his homework, he has not really done proper research before making this allegation. I believe there is no slowdown of implementation of central schemes,” he said.
