NEW DELHI:
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has picked up 30 star campaigners for the second phase of Manipur election.
In a letter addressed to the secretary, Election Commission of India (ECI), on February 14, the Congress said that the list comprises top leaders from high command such as Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Okram Ibobi Singh, Bhakta Charan Das, O Ibobi Singh and TN Haokip, among others.
The second phase polling will take place on March 5.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will address a virtual rally for one of the candidates on February 15, the letter read.
