TEZPUR:

The two-day Commanders Conference of the Eastern Air Command (EAC) kickstarted at the at Air Force Station (AFS), Tezpur, on October 12, with Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari advocating officers on making Indian Air Force (IAF) an aerospace power in furtherance of national interests.

Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari, who attended the conference as the chief guest, was welcomed by Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding in Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Eastern Air Command.

The Air Chief Marshal exhorted the commanders to develop IAF into an agile, adaptable and vigilant Air Force that provides decisive aerospace power in the future.

Chaudhari also awarded the trophies to the best performing stations under the Eastern Air Command.

The CAS also released a book on Multi Domain Operations & Air Forces-Inseparable Entities. The book contains articles contributed by young officers of Eastern Air Command highlighting the enhanced role of Aerospace Power in future wars across the entire spectrum of conflict.
