SHILLONG:
The Central Executive Council (CEC) of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), led by its president Lambokstarwell Marngar, vice president Biangbor Paliar, publicity secretary Pynshai Rani, Pynkmenlang Sanmiet, and Lashanbor Mukhim, on April 29, arrived in Delhi to elect new representatives.
The CEC elected Marbiang Khongwir and Nicholas Chyrmang as the president and general secretary respectively at Meghalaya House in Delhi.
The members met Meghalayans living in Delhi and addressed the topic of “Reigniting Social Cohesion in the Citified Prism of Diversity” with Hamletson Dohling in attendance.
Dohling is a former KSU member and is now the advisor to Meghalaya Chief Minister. The purpose of the gathering was to get acquainted with each other, especially those who are residing far from home.
