Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Shillong to campaign for candidates contesting the upcoming assembly election, said the lotus will bloom in Meghalaya this time around.
Addressing a huge gathering at Khyndai Lad on February 24, PM Modi said the mood and sentiment of the people of Meghalaya is a reflection of the love and support they have for the saffron party, and their eagerness for change.
“If a BJP government is formed in Meghalaya, it will be easier for me to work closely with the state. Will you give me the chance to serve you?” he asked the people.
