NONGPOH:
One man lost his life in an accident that took place at Umran Dairy in Ri Bhoi district on May 22 around 6 pm.
Reports stated that the man, identity yet to be confirmed, was riding his scooty — ML10 C 8114 when he reportedly collided with a truck bearing the registration number — NL 01 G6708. In the collision, the scooty rider went under the tires of the truck, crushing his skull. He died on the spot.
The truck driver was taken away by the police and investigation is under way.
