NEET Exams 2023, Garo hills.

TURA:

Three venues in the Garo Hills hosted the 739 applicants who took the NEET Exams 2023. On May 7, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the test. The NEET centres are located at Captain William’s School, Don Bosco College, Tura, and New Horizon School.

Shri Jagdish Chelani, IAS, the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, played an instrumental role in assisting all three centres with conducting the exam without an issue. The exams went off without a hitch, and all the centres managed to submit the finished scripts to the city coordinator at Don Bosco College, Tura, before the due date.

Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, the principal of Don Bosco College in Tura and the city coordinator, expressed his joy at the candidates’ participation, which more than doubled from the previous year’s tally of 380. He also added that it is encouraging to see more students from Garo Hills taking the NEET Exams, and he hopes that the coming year will see even more candidates writing the competitive exams.

The NEET tests are an essential part of India’s medical college admissions process. Students who want to enroll in undergraduate medical programmes at government and private medical colleges must pass the NEET exam in order to do so. The tests are given in a number of cities throughout India, and the ones in Garo Hills this year were successfully completed without any problems.
