A few days back the incident of physical assault on unsuspecting people be they from the locality or outside the locality of Jaiaw, who had come for some work, and the assault on a duty constable, which was subsequently followed by another assault on a local cab driver and his passengers is highly distasteful, condemnable and unjustified. Such acts speak of the very foundation of such people who come from certain kind of family background where parenting seems to have been disturbing. Apart from this, these incidents show that law and order is in a precarious state which the state police and all its resources should rectify. However, congratulations should be given to the people who cooperated and the police for doing the needful. We also should see the respective dorbar shnongs speak out against such acts which are detrimental to peace and security.
