NONGPOH:
Lending their support to Congress candidate from 10-Jirang Constituency, Adrian L Chyne Mylliem, several leaders from the NPP, UDP, and BJP joined the Congress during a function held at 18th Mile, Byrnihat, on February 9.
Those who joined included BJP leaders from 18th mile, Riang Pohtam, and Bisida Sumer. UDP leaders from 18th mile, Balaai Suting and Antipas Bina, and Boney Wick Marwein from Patharkhmah.
NPP leaders from who joined Congress included Shaniah Pohswet, Maxi Marak, and Pynskhem Sumer from 18th mile, Morning Marngar from Patharkhmah and Jenewel Khongkliam from 15th mile.
It was informed that many more leaders from the NPP, UDP, and BJP are going to join the Congress in the coming weeks.
