Khriam said that she would pursue Computer Applications in her graduation and added, “Later on I will decide (what to do) as I learn more about it,” Khriam said.
She said that throughout the year she was laid back, but towards the examination she realised how important it was to work hard, and did her level best to study as much as she could.
She advised her fellow students by saying that “hard work pays”.
Asked whether social media is a boon or a bane, she said that one has to maintain discipline.

Meanwhile, Riwaka Tangsong also of St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School who secured the 10th position said that she loves to read and study.
“Whenever I have time I sit down and read, maybe even a page or two. It is always good to feed your brain every day,” Tangsong said.
Apart from that she also said that concentrating during class works.
“So if you really pay attention in class sometimes you don’t have to study the topic anymore,” she said.
Tangsong aspires to be an IAS officer, and aims to clear the civil services.
“I am willing to work a little harder and in life you have to take little steps and this way we get to our goals,” she added.
Tangsong secured 426 marks with letters in Khasi, Education and Sociology.
It may be mentioned that St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, performed well in this year’s HSSLC Examination, with seven students among the top 10 rank holders.
