Shillong:
The annual Thanksgiving dance of the Raid Kongthong Sohra Syiemship will be held on April 28 and 29.
A statement issued here by the secretary of the Raid Kongthong Stogent Lynrah informed that the decision was taken under the leadership of the Sordar of Raid Kongthong, Teibor Lynrah.
The dance is locally called Ka Shad Puja Raid Kongthong.
On April 28, religious rites will start at 4 pm at Ñiangpyrhai ground, Kongthong while the traditional dance will be held on April 29 at Dahksang ground Kongthong from 11 am to 5 pm.
The Raid Kongthong has invited people across Hynniewtrep to witness the occasion.
