SHILLONG:
The All Meghalaya Primary School Teachers’ Association (AMPSTA) organized a protest rally on September 4 urging the government to reinstate the Old Pension Scheme, which has been suspended since April 2010.
Additionally, they are advocating for the payment of the fourth installment of a 25 per cent revised pay for deficit teachers, regular monthly salaries for deficit school teachers, and improved quality in education.
