SHILLONG:
Congress MLA Saleng Sangma has said that the party has to discuss and debate on several burning issues that have to be considered before the party can take a final call on the upcoming Assembly Elections.
Briefing media persons on Congress’s preparation for the assembly polls, Sangam said, “Whatever the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) has placed before the assembly needs time. We have not been able to discuss the public grievances before us. There are a lot of issues that have to be taken up. This is the only ground in place where we can highlight every problem.”
He said though the party has discussed some matters, there are a number of motions and resolutions that have to be considered.
He said that 15-20 days will be required to contemplate on things and then come with Congress Assembly poll preparations.
