The Fresher’s Day event encompassed various engaging activities, such as the introduction of the incoming freshers, insightful speeches by esteemed guests, and captivating dance and song performances.

Addressing the occasion, Donald V. Thabah expressed, “The Fresher’s meet serves as a bridge connecting juniors and seniors, with the primary purpose of guiding and supporting our newest members. I urge each one of you not to get carried away by the festivities but rather to manage and value your time wisely. Do not squander your parents’ hard-earned money. Enjoy your youth responsibly.”

Biswajit Kalai, the MLA of Katarjala Assembly Constituency in Tripura, offered words of encouragement, saying, “While you may be far from your families, it is crucial to be a strong support system for one another. Stay focused and dedicated to your studies. We have great hopes for you, as you are the future of our state.”

On the other hand, Maharaja Pradyot Bikram Kishor Manikya Bahadur encouraged the youth to pursue higher education even after completing their studies at UCC College. He emphasised the importance of having more tribal bureaucrats and high-ranking government officials. “The enjoyment you experience should not hinder your career; instead, it should contribute to building your life to its fullest potential,” he said.
