Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA A L Hek has informed that the party will hold its central scheme monitoring committee meeting on Saturday to discuss the issues concerning the implementation of central scheme in the state.
Hek is the chairman of the committee set up by the state BJP. It may be mentioned that the saffron party has warned of filing RTI for doubtful constituencies, which will reveal whether the central schemes are being implemented in letter and spirit.
Meanwhile, speaking to The Meghalayan on Thursday, BJP president Ernest Mawrie informed that the committee is assigned to find out the key issues.
“They have been given time to find out if there is any discrepancy in implementing the schemes and to check whether there is a need to file a complaint or an RTI,” he said.
He added that the committee will then submit the report to the party.
